The cost of gas source Since the cost of nitrogen and oxygen is higher than that of compressed air, and the prices of nitrogen and oxygen are rising year by year, using air as the cutting auxiliary gas can greatly reduce production costs by about half. The role of high-pressure gas source 1. Cooling prevents the material from hardening, that is, being heat-treated; 2. The air pressure blows away the molten metal slag, preventing dust from clogging the laser nozzle, thus protecting it and extending its service life; Requirements of laser cutting machine for compressed air source Laser cutting machines have relatively high requirements for the compressed air source, which must be free of water and oil. Generally, users equip with four-stage or even five-stage filtration to better protect the service life of the laser cutting machine. If the air source entering the cutting head contains water and oil, it will cause fogging of the protective lens in a short period of time, affecting the cutting quality. If the protective lens is not replaced in time, under the irradiation of high-power beams, the internal temperature of the cutting head may rise, causing damage to the internal lens group.
